Water treatment and electrolysis

Salt and salt tablets are used for regeneration of the water softening device.

The water in most wells in Poland is characterized by a high content of calcium and magnesium (hardness).
The hardness of the water causes unnecessary use of emollients as well as the formation of scale, which reduces the efficiency of the heating process and significantly increases fuel consumption.

Water softening is the removal of components that cause the water hardness. This process takes place in the ion exchanger. When the ion exchange capacity of the bed is exhausted, it is subjected to a regeneration process with brine. Softening is usually one of the components of water treatment plants for food, heating, cooling and other processes.
